· Develop and deliver technology-integrated lessons that support the curriculum .

· Teach technology skills to meet Connecticut’s Technology learning goals.

· Work collaboratively with classroom teachers to facilitate the integration of technology across the curriculum, both in the lab and in the classroom .

· Provide differentiated instruction using technology to meet individual learning requirements and to support a variety of learning styles and modalities.

· Apply and model legal and ethical use of technology  skills.

· Model effective use of the internet for students and teachers.

· Use appropriate strategies to manage resources and the learning environment using  the computer labs.

· Evaluate and reflect upon professional practices, emerging technologies, and current research to support student learning.

· Provide leadership technology leadership in the serving on the school improvement team. 

· Assist in the design and implementation of professional development in technology integration for staff.

· Assist teachers as they integrate technology and utilize technology resources.

Technical Support

· Troubleshoots problems with computer systems, including troubleshooting hardware and software, e-mail, network and peripheral equipment problems; makes repairs and corrections where required.

· Installs, assembles and configures computers, monitors, network infrastructure and peripherals such as printers, scanners and related hardware.

· Contacts additional resources as needed (Hartford Help Desk, Smarttech, etc.)
